Field Project Coordinator
FIELD PROJECT COORDINATOR
MISSION: The Field Project Coordinator is responsible for knowledge of hazardous material regulations, DOT regulations, warehousing, and logistics are necessary. This position will be helping NuLine Industrial Solutions’ management team set the bar for exceptional service in a very fast paced and continuously growing manufacturing environment. This is a physically and mentally challenging position.
REPORTS TO: Director of Sales & Operations
Principal Responsibilities:
· Manage waste management activities including inventory of waste / hazardous & non-hazardous materials, waste shipment preparation, and off-site disposal
· Proper communication for coordinating scheduled or required disposal shipments
· Operate, if necessary, all available equipment (forklift, etc.) in adherence with training and company policies
· Responsible for inspections and record keeping (hazardous waste audits, pre-shipment checklists, etc.)
· Serve as the first responder to industrial waste or material spills
· Complete special assignments or tasks as requested by NIS Management
· Report all recognized unsafe conditions or acts to NIS Management
· Serve as an on-site liaison between NIS and the customer
Position Preferred & Required Skills:
• Required, high school diploma with some college or equivalent related field experience
• Required, must be a self-starter requiring very little day to day supervision with a proven service record of excellent communication skills with the ability to work independently and as a part of a team
• Required, teamwork skills along with excellent customer service focus
• Required, be able to safely lift objects over 50 lbs.
• Required, promote a safe and high morale work environment
• Required, applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
• Preferred, minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial facility managed services role
• Preferred, knowledge a must; DOT/RCRA/RCRA Regulatory Waste Management, & OSHA Regulations
• Preferred, have or be able to obtain TWIC clearance
• Preferred, have or be able to complete HAZWOPER & Safety Council certifications
A valid driver’s license is required.
